Ashley Cortez (she/her) is a sophomore in Berkeley College, majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology on the pre-med track and also pursuing an Education Studies certificate. She is from Charlottesville, Virginia (wahoowa!), and both of her parents are from El Salvador. At Yale, she volunteers at HAVEN Free Clinic, is a member of Alpha Phi, and serves as a Community Health Educator. Outside of academics, Ashley loves watching sports (she’s a huge FC Barcelona fan), going on sweet treat runs, and spending time with friends.
