Jean-Claude Pierre (he/him) is from Long Island, New York and is majoring in American Studies and Economics. He is the Community Outreach Chair for Yale’s Black Men’s Union and Events Manager for WORD (Yale’s oldest spoken word poetry group). Outside of the classroom, you can find Jay listening to music, reading a book, playing basketball, or writing. He loves discovering new books and new music, so feel free to send him some recs!
